Carlton OEC is a main and first choice provider of outdoor education courses to primary schools, and has been delivering high quality courses to schools since it's inception in the 1930s.
Thousands of primary children from the local area have visited "Carlton Camp" over the years and these groups continue to be our main customers.

Everyone at Carlton wants you to make the most of your visit. To this end, our friendly and approachable staff are committed to providing you with genuine hospitality and an atmosphere in which you will feel safe, secure, comfortable and well cared for.
We attach great importance to partnership in the development our course programmes. We'll ask for your group's aims and objectives for their visit so that together, we can construct a programme which makes best use of time and the locations and opportunities available.
We can vary the emphasis of a course in both style and content and thereby create a bespoke experience for every group of visitors.
You could place an emphasis on personal development, social education, environmental awareness, curriculum support or physical challenge and adventure.
The choice is yours...We can combine all these elements - or more - into your time with us.
The instructional staff at Carlton share a keen interest in the development of young people and have a firm belief in the benefits that outdoor education and the residential experience can bring.
Able to relate to a wide range of groups and with a broad experience of outdoor pursuits and experiential learning, they are able to engage groups in activities that are delivered in a knowledgeable, challenging, rewarding and enjoyable style.
